Help with syncing cellphone with mac

by debsieling / March 12, 2008 6:06 AM PDT

I want to get a new cell phone that can sync with iCal on my mac. What kind of phone do I need and do I need to upgrade my cell service to include internet? Any help is much appreciated!

I'm not a real techy person but the iphone is the on one I know of that can syn with ical. I don't have it because I don't need all the bells and whistles, and the price. I just sync my office mac with my home one via .MAC and plug in my phone calendar and thing I don't want to forget.

I had seen this before and had downloaded the only to find it a .zip that I had to go to a PC to unstuff and it wasn't anything I was interested in. I am going to try the, it looks more MAC friendly. Thanks for the info.

If you need to discuss something else or jumped into someone else's discussion then I'd think about making your own discussion. This sort of hijacking can create confusion.

You can try BitPim
by Jimmy Greystone / March 14, 2008 6:31 AM PDT

You can try BitPim which has a Mac version. You'll want to check the list of supported phones to see if yours is on there. From there you might be able to figure out something to get it into iCal or some other program.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
