help with some basics

My son has given me a dvd-r with over 3 gig of mp3s (in folders) on it. He wants everything on cd. I have a Dell D610 notebook with a combo cd/dvd drive, and RecordNow Plus burning software which came with the notebook. Can someone tell me the best way to get all this music transferred from the dvd to cd's?

first. If you leave them as mp3's, burn as data. Need about 6 cd-r's. If you are converting them to audio cda, then burn as Audio. Need about 50 cd-r's.
