help with setting up samsung htx810

Dec 14, 2008 2:05PM PST

Ok recently I became the proud owner of the ln46a650 as well as the htx810.I love them both I have them nicely placed up on the wall. However I also have a PS3 and direct tv hd box, and since my htx810 only has one hdmi in its kinda setting me back.Is there anyway to get all of my components to work with the htx? Would a hdmi switch work? and if so which one is best? I really like the htx810 but want to get the best sound from it after all thats why i bought it.

warstory,

I don't see any reason a switchbox wouldn't work as an input to your Home Theater system. They don't come cheap, so hopefully someone can point you to a great deal.

Forum experts? Does anyone have experiences with good switch boxes?

Its true that a hdmi switch would let me connect all my devices to my sound system. However I want to get the best sound out of my blurays so I need to send a signal to both my tv and my soundbar. Is there anything out right now that can do that a short of hdmi splitter?

Splitter?

Do you mean you want to run HDMI signals simultaneously through two HDMI cables? I'm unaware that this is possible.

Your Blu-Ray would be best hooked up to the television via HDMI and the soundbar via Optical cable.
