Here we get a replacement phone. A dropped phone is common but it can lead to the strangest issues. The thing is, if you let the person feel the pain they learn to not drop it. If you fix their phone then they don't learn the lesson.
My daughter has a galaxy ace. A few days ago she couldn't receive texts and now she can't do anything except receive calls. She took it into the 3 shop where we got it from and they said as she dropped the phone about 2 months ago and cracked the screen it is now out of warranty. I have done a hard reset but still nothing works. It says that there is no mobile network and when I tried saving her data through samsung kies it doesn't recognise that there is a sim there. After she dropped it the phone worked absolutely fine. There a 2 shops I went into who said they could fix screen for £35. The 3 shop was surprised cos they said it would cost a lot more but once its done then phone should be back in warranty. Any ideas what could be wrong?
