help with purchase of MiniDV camcorder

I need to buy a new MiniDV camcorder in order to copy Super8 films with a WorkPrinter XP.
It needs to have at least 14x zoom, ability to lock shutter speed to 1/60, ability to focus manually, firewire output and must not be expensive. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
By the way I recently bought a Canon ZR 950 on ebay but was not working properly and had no manual focus so I had to return it to the seller.

manual focus: all cams should have this. its usually in a menu on the cam, not a focus ring

firewire: all minidvs have firewire

14x zoom: im curious how you came up with this number. but all new cams have that

1/60 fps: i know panasonics can lock the shutter speed

so i guess you should check out a panasonic pv-gs90

14x zoom is the minimum required for a special project. I'm copying some super 8 films with a WorkPrinter.
Unfortunately the pvgs90 is available only in USA and it is not PAL.
Thanks anyway.
