You mentioned this is a work computer. If it is the Bosses computer, contact the company's IT person. That's what he or she is there for. If it is your own computer and is new, you [may] have a service agreement. Call their service/support team. Even if you don't have a service agreement, it can never hurt to ask.
As far as any documents, files, folders, photos, programs or program setup (.exe) files that you do not want to risk loosing. You can back them up by coping (not moving) them to a cd. Since cd's are not [always] a particularly stable media for backup, it's a good idea to always maintain a copy of the backup on a separate cd. I backup my work related files to cd at the end of the day and update the extra copy at the end of the week. A better backup media would probably be an external hard drive that can be turned off or disconnected except for when transferring data.
The HP Deskjet D4100 series is the printer. If you ran this disc you [may] find at Start > Control Panel > Printers and Faxes that you have two installations of the printer If so, the second one may be indicated by "(2)." You should be able to delete it, or even just leave it be. As for the new items that have shown up in Add/Remove programs, most program and driver cd's come with optional trial ware programs as a sort of advertisement. They should be safe to delete. But first create a System Restore point just in case you should find that they are something you would like to have.
I assume that HP Digital Media Archive is also listed in Start > All Programs. If so, it may also have a shortcut named "Uninstall." If so, clicking on it should walk you through the uninstallation process. Before uninstalling it, make sure you have the cd or setup program to reinstall it. BTW, I assume that you actlually [clicked] on Digital Media Archive when you were in Add/Remove programs. Another option is to go to Start > Search > in the top dialogue box type Digital Media Archive and click Search. If it finds a reference to Digital Media Archive then go to
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/moveonboot.html and download and install Move On Boot. Then right click on any file relating to HP Digital Media Archive. Left click on Properties. Left click on GiPo@Utilities. In the dialogue box left click on GiPo@MoveOnBoog > Execute. Select the radio button beside Delete File. then left click on Next > Start > Finish. Restart the computer.
Always, prior to making major changes to the system such as installing or uninstalling programs or profiles, create System Restore points. Because, when we least expect it, stuff happens. And it's nice to be able to restore the system to the way it was before.
