Help with Olympus digital camera

When i open lens barrier my camera 'dings'. Is there anyway to switch this off please. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. You have no idea how irritating the ding was. I looked in the reference manual and it didn't actually say about the lens barrier opening but pointed me to the settup menu after a play around I found a second page on the menu and under a strange icon there was options of high, low or off. I set it to off and it worked. The camera is now a pleasure to use as I was very consious of the ding (however stupid that sounds). I have had this camera for 5 years and I wish I had found this forum earlier. Thanks again and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
