Help with NTBackup..... anyone?

i bought a laptop that came with xp home sp2 pre-installed by the manufacture. i need to use ntbackup but from microsofts website it is supposedly included in the value pack folder in the installation cd but my xp came pre-installed. i have talked to microsoft who refered me to dell and vice verser and i am tired of this. anyone,.... someone,... HELP!

Sorry, NTBACKUP even when working does not write to CDR or DVDR and didn't work on a 10GB AVI file we had. It's rubbish and you can do better with free software such as CDBURNERXP.

I no longer help people into this data deathtrap.

i just downloaded and installed CDBURNERXP and i must say its quite easy to use, thanks a lot and keep up the good work ....

Upon restoring NTBackup some times restores files to incorrect locations.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
