Help with new Dell Studio 1535

Hi.......just ordered a new Dell Studio 1535 and would love to know how to set up this new I need a modem? a d link? a phone or cable high speed...............? visiting out of town for awhile later in the year and wonder what do I need to get online in other areas?
here is what I have.........

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
