Help with MSINET.OCX file..

Apr 14, 2005 1:58AM PDT

A couple of days ago, I removed some programs through the add and remove programs feature on my system. One forum fellow helped me resolve one issue, now I have another. My system is telling me: Component MSINET.OCX or one of its dependancies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

The software that was removed was CD/DVD burning software, so, I'm assuming that there are WAY more files that need to be recovered..but I'll start with this one.

Yesterday, I tried to do a window's update. I retrieved all my critical updates. I downloaded the .NET framework 1.1 thought that would help..nothing.

I also downloaded a file from Microsoft that included the MSINET file, but it isn't making a difference! HELP!
