You don't want limewire, kazaa, morpheus, or any of those types of programs installed. Those file sharing programs are filled with spyware, tracking devices, and most of the files downloaded from them are trojan/virus filled evil monsters that will trash your system faster than anything else you can download from the net.
Although CNET doesn't support piracy, they do offer a P2P program that is clean and popular to use called winmx in their http://www.downloads.com area. Here's the link:

limewire stalls during installation - it gets to the point where it says it is installing java and just stops installing. I have to cntrl-alt-delete several times to get out of the installation. Also, under Add/Remove programs on the Control Panel Limewire is not listed? I'm running Windows 98, no Norton programs, no apparent virus protection software (I'm on a friend's computer.) Help!
