Help with Large network!!

Feb 16, 2016 11:41PM PST

Hello,

I've been asked to set up an network for around 300 ppl.
I know a bit of routing and switching (wont be a problem)
I only have the problem with how to start...

The network will be Wired and also Wireless, I know how to set up the wireless network, and the basics about setting up an wired environment.
My question is if i'am forgetting something, i now have:
- Router
- Switches
- Acces points
- Wireless Lan Controller(s)
- UTP Cat6A cabling
- Fiber cabling
- Redundant power supply

Am i missing stuff to set up a network?
Any help will be very appericiated.

That's not a DIY job. Buy everything with a specialised company, and let them install and finetune everything, including professional monitoring and security appliances, and including the whole setup.

Thanks for the fast response.
I've forgot the most important piece of information I guess hehe.
I'am busy with my study and to graduate I need to finish my internship.
The company where I do my internship, gaved me this assignment to do.

Move out from one site and start all over in a new site.

That's why I need to set up a pretty large network.

(excuse me for grammar mistakes, im not english hehe)

I really don't think this is a suitable assignment for an intern. So let me suggest that you consult your professor and ask his advice about it.

Not for DIY first timers.

Even the seasoned pros will call up Cisco and have a plan plus estimate made. Only your newest of networkers will do this on their own.
