Help With Internet Issues, Please!

OK so I live with a roommate. We both have desktops built to game and use ethernet cords to connect our computers to the Ubee modem. We pay for 50 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up. He has no problems with internet. We both play League of Legends and I will randomly lag by getting disconnected for a brief moment and reconnecting (could last anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds on average). This doesn't just happen when playing games, it could be while browsing YouTube, Facebook, etc. Could anyone please help me with this? Thank you in advance!

Try this with a live OS booted from USB/DVD. No OS install required but can be useful to determine if your installed OS is infected or other.
