1) When you get the error page, can you right-click on that page (assuming it's accessing ftp.domain.com etc) and select "login as" and then login to upload?
2) Have you tried using a FTP client to upload those files?
Are both computers in school? Outside of school? It may just be a school security setting...

My professor and I are at our wits end. Perhaps you can help. I am taking a basic html class. We have two sets of files we have to upload using the colleges ftp server.
I cannot gain access to the server. I keep getting the error page that states this page cannot be displayed. She logged in from her computer and got access right away. I keep getting the error page.
The only setting that was suggestion was to uncheck Use passive FTP on the Tools, Advanced in Internet Options.
Her and I both are using IE6.
