Just last week I saw a similar message while installing Windows 7. However the message I had read NO DRIVES WERE FOUND.
I wonder if you added the letter R?
If so I'll share I had to boot a special CD called GPARTED (see google) and with GPARTED was able to delete some bizarre partition on the hard drive. (BYE BYE whatever was on that drive!)
The next attempt with the restore media went smoothly.
