That won't work. Laptop hard drives, the IDE kind anyway, use different connectors over desktop drives, so you need an external enclosure that can handle 2.5" IDE drives.
how do i attach a laptop/notebook hard drive to my desktop to format it? its about a 13 year old system, with very little info (as usual)
