similar problem to me. I could'nt install. Before even the prompt for a second disk, the computer reboots all of a sudden during installation. Same place everytime. I didn't try the text installer. Someone told me to give it a try. But i don't have time, got too much to do, so i just stuck with another distro.

Hi,
I'm using a homebuilt computer with a P4 2.8GHZ HT and a Radeon 9600. I already have WinXP SP2 on there, but before I installed it, I made a second partition for Linux. Then I set up Windows, downloaded Fedora Core and burned it (CD's) I the first one in and used the test function to test all the discs. They were all fine. Then it tried to start the graphical installer and the screen went blank. So I tried again, this time using the text installer. It got through the install, including the boot loader, but when I reboot and tried to boot to Fedora, when I went to launch X Windows, the screen went blank again. Should I just try reburning it or should I try a different distoro, or what?
