Hello all,
Here is the situation that I need your help on.
Let's say that I have an Excel file, which contains four columns, one labeled Order#, second labeled Order Amount, third labeled Order Descr, and fourth labeled Amount. I use the feature Auto-Filtered on all columns which gives each labeling cell a tiny down-arrow button and then I can just click it and make the approriate selection. After I make the selection, the screen should show only the data for that selection. Now I want to show the average of the Order Amount column at the bottom of the column. Calculating the average of the whole column is easy, but what I want is to calculate the average of just what is showing on the screen at that moment after I make the selection and I don't know how to do this. Does anybody know how or can it be done with Excel itself? Thank you in advance.
I know it's abit difficult to explain, let me know if it's not clear. (Email: kqto97@yahoo.com)
