Help with Excel

Apr 22, 2005 9:16AM PDT

I keep wanting to write in let's say : 15.30
Yet it changes to 15.3
or if I write 00, it changes to 0
how do I make it stop from changing it?

Format the field as numeric with 2 decimals. That's all. From the menu bar: Format>Cell Properties, then choose Number. Or via the right click menu.

This is very basic. You might find it useful to read an introductory book on Excel. Have a look in your bookshop or public library.

When you post a single line of text in the Subject line, then an "(NT)" (for No Text) will be placed at the beginning of the Subject line, to let others read the outline of all the messages and see which ones don't need to be opened.

I only mentioned this to let you know that you did not have to enter a message like:

Subject of "."
Body: "thanks!"

to give a Thank You.
Thank You's are always appreciated, and the "(NT)" is handy for that.

Just thought you might like to know.
