Help with dvd problems

Hi,
Can someone help me please.I have downloaded a music video on computer(XP system brought in 2004)and after much hassle i managed to copy it onto a DVD+RW.And this plays on my computer DvD player.However if i put the disc into a DVD player or Blu Ray player it does not work at all.Can some one tell me how to get my DVDS+RW to work.

Try burning it to a dvd+r;

not all dvd player will play dvd+rw. Also..when you say copy to a dvd+rw, does that mean like copying a file as in copy and pasted?

Hi Ahtoi,
Yep i copied it onto disc using a burner.Or so i thought.It seems it may have not copied onto disc?I know if i put disc in computer it will play on Windows media player only.What do you think.I only downloaded a song vid i wanted to watch on tv using blueray bd35 Panasonic player(2nd generation).Thanks for your help.

You need to convert it to the right format.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
