1. This is why we keep a PS2 keyboard and mouse around. Works for this issue.
2. This is also why you can't avoid posting the make and model. I have no way of knowing if this machine has a PS2 keyboard and or mouse emulation or legacy option in the BIOS. Be sure to supply the machine's manual (a link please) if you want folk to read that for you.

I have a desktop on which PS2 ports are not working and I am using USB keyboard and mouse. I installed Windows XP Prof SP2 which went well. However, after that the keyboard and mouse are not detected. I am not able to install any drivers.
I reinstaleld the OS but still keyboard and mouse wont work. Any tips how can I get the drivers installed (atleast chipset) or how can I get the keyboard and mouse working?
