That's unclear. Also what is a NBN?
As to cascading routers, no one I know does that. We might use a second router as a WAP but router router setups are so awful that I let folk stew until they are tender and ready to change.
Hi , i currently play csgo competitive and i need a stable internet cable to play.
I'll explain my situation. I live with a couple and i live on the first floor of the house. The nbn box is in the garage which is the room next to my computer. But the cable that starts from the nbn box goes into a internet adapter and then to their modem on the second floor. I dont wanna move the modem because its in their office room. I also dont want to put a cable from upstair to downstair throught wall because its not my house and it costs heaps of money.I also tried to open a second port directly from the nbn box but that cost 300$ and a monthly subscription and payment aswell and its not worth it for the time that im going to stay there..I also put some drawings on here to make it a bit more clearer : 1st floor ( http://imgur.com/CxhLzRF ) , 2nd floor ( http://imgur.com/8ksfdEv ). Im willing to buy a new router/modem if i need to! So how could i make it work via cable internet from downstairs , Via another router that cascade to the second router upstairs and i can run a cable from the first router? .. I've been struggling with that problem for 1 month now help please. I hope that makes sense let me know if you have any question or i can explain it better.
