Here's why. The license is per video stream and all the DVD players I see today only will display on one screen at a time.
You can try dropping video acceleration to none... And the resolution may have to drop to 640x480.
I know this post is everywhere but i can never find the right answer to solve my problem.
As far as i know, all i need is an s-video cable and a tv with an s-video cable port. I've tried hooking them up with the cable and pressing "Fn" + "F5" without success. I have also tried plugging the cable in to the tv and laptop with the laptop off, switching the tv to S Video 1 channel and then turning the laptop on, still no success.
Have also tried changing the screen resolution to 600x800. also changed the color quality to 16bit. Went into Start, Control Panel, Display, Settings, and ticked "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" and i get nothing at all. in Display properties and settings i click on screen "2" box and when i click "Identify" i just get a "1" on my laptop but just the usual blue screen on the tv nothing changes.
Can anyone help me? I've been trying to figure this out for sooo long and its doing my head in big time! thanks to aaaanyone who can give me some advice.
Ok so i have a Toshiba A70 thats using ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP multiple monitor adapter, i have run driver updates and there are no later drivers for it. I'm running WinXP. My TV is a Sony Trinitron. The s-video cable is a 5 prong cable that i bought fits nicely in the laptop and tv so i know its the right one.
