or google "how to replace hdd with ssd" and get a gazillion hits. Good luck.
I recently bought a Kingston hyperx 3k 120gb SSD, and I want to use it as a boot drive.
I have looked up how to do it but I just wanted to check that I will be doing it right before I do anything.
So I have installed my SSD and it is connected, but unallocated.
I am going to back up my HDD and defrag it and then use AOMEI to copy windows over.
Then I need to set the SSD as the boot disk in the BIOS menu.
Is this right? I am new to this and so I don't want to mess things up.
