take the computer back to the place you had do the work. they didn't put your computer back right. everything should work exactly the way it did before you had them do the work.
Herb...
I have a HP Desktop Pavillion computer that I purchased in 1998. I recently had it upgraded. They transferred my CD-R and DVD drive into a new box and added extra memory, hard drive and a faster processor since it was only 550 MHZ. I don't know if that's when the problem started or not, but now when I put a disk in the CD-R drive, it keeps asking for me to put the disk in. It's like it can't see it or something. also, it acts like its reading it, the green light blinks, but it doen's make much noise. I'm not sure what's wrong. Could it just be worn out? I haven't really used it that much.I've tried using the DVD drive and it does the same thing. Sometimes they work and sometimes they do this.
Any help appreciated.
