You'll have to share which model you are considering but I urge you to inspect the laptop at best buy first.
Look at the LCD and compare it to others. I find it barely acceptable. It's not a bad display but folks that edit photos may not like this. It's PASSABLE but barely.
As to the games, the model line is all over the map. Let's get the exact model so we can see what's in it.
I am currently in the search for my first laptop. I have had my eye on the Dell Inspiron R line for a while, (more specifically, the 15r) but I am not sure what would be the best deal and fit my needs. My budget is $600, can be stretched a little, and would like to get the best for my money. I'm a student, and plan to use the laptop for basic things like homework, video streaming, and picture editing, as well as playing the Sims 2 & 3. I would like it to have a good graphics card, but I'm just a casual gamer.
Again, I am considering the Inspiron R line, but I am also interested in anything else that suits my needs, though I prefer Dell.
