Help with browser on Windows 8.1 plz ASAP

Hi,
I just recieved my new ACER Aspire E 14, Windows 8.1 and it has Explorer as a browser, which I hate. I used Chrome with my previous laptop and syn all data with my Android phone. Should I uninstall Explorer and install Chrome? How can I do this step by step. I'm not that oriented with computers so please help me with simple clear steps Happy

It's impossible to uninstall Internet Explorer. But it's very well possible to install other browsers (like Firefox or Chrome) and just not use IE, unless it's necessary (for example to visit Windows Update).

Installing Chrome is just the same as you did on your previous laptop:
1. Go to https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/
2. Click 'Download Chrome'.
That's simple enough?

Don't delete IE

Just download chrome and answer Yes to it when it ask if you want to make Chrome the default browser. Making any browser the default
