So I've got this old app (from Win 98 days!) called the Bablyon 5 Arcade Series Entertainment Utility. Oddly enough, it still works perfectly under XP, but it has an old problem that I'm encountering now that I've re-installed it to a new system: the configuration screen (accessed by double-clicking its system tray icon) will open essentially off-screen. There IS a fix for it, something like editing a .ini file, but of course I've long forgotten exactly what it is. If anyone knows off-hand what the fix is and/or where it can be found, I'd be quite appreciative.
Failing that, the reason I'm running the app is because it turns a couple neat tricks that I've yet to hear of in more recent software. On boot, it will change your wallpaper from a selected list of favorites, tiling or stretching them as you desire. Also, and perhaps more importantly, it will do the same thing for sounds attached to system events. So when you empty the recycle bin, you could hear any one of a list of different sounds (WAV format), instead of just the one definable via the regular Sound Control Panel. If y'all have any sluggestions as to alternative ways to do both of the above without this elderly app. do sing out!
