Help with a new computer

Jul 27, 2005 5:33AM PDT

Hi,

Im looking to get a new PC and have found two Gateways that seem to give me the most bang for my buck.

I found this bundle on sale for 999 and seems to have everything i need:

Or for what will be an extra 100 bucks with monitor...should I go for the 835GM:

Also, with these packages I seem to get more than building one from, say, Dell. Are these good computers? Any other suggestions in this price range? Thanks alot in advance....Matt

Go with the Dual core machine.

As for Gateway, Dell doesn't match.

I have an old Gateway(not my primary computer)that is 10 years old, loaded Win98 on it, and runs like a charm.
