HELP! Windows transfer / No boot disk

Feeling a bit stuck and frustrated since my system has been down all day -_-

I had a 1TB drive almost full and installed a new 2TB to replace it. I used EaseUS to clone the drive thus transferring the Windows install (which I've done before on another system). The clone process seemed to work fine, BIOS shows my new drive on the list (after removing the original 1TB), but I can't actually start the system (keep getting "No boot device found"). Been running startup repair for almost an hour now with no apparent progress. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Be sure that you remove the old drive BEFORE you attempt a boot PLUS be sure the new drive is on the SATA port you were booting from.

If that fails, use some other clone app.

The old drive was removed first, sorry if I hadn't made that clear. Not 100% sure which SATA port the original drive was on, but I've tried it on both with the same error.

Windows could mark the drive non-bootable if we boot after the clone without removing the old drive.

SATA port matters since machines vary a lot and not all will boot from all ports plus Windows may care.

So the generic rule is the boot drive is on the lowest SATA port number (not covering M.2 slots here.)

If the clone fails, you repeat and if fails again you use another cloning app or ask in the clone software support forum.
