HELP ! Win-XP Pro Shutdown

Jan 10, 2004 2:39AM PST

Cannot get Windows XP to shut down properly. Only after going through control-alt-delete, and "ending process" on "ccapp". Then it shuts down ! I know this is not good to do, but what can I do with this on-going problem??
I have already tried uninstalling, and reinstalling my Norton 2003 Pro. Should I try this again ?
Please help ! THANKS in advance !

Thank you for the information !
I guess I posted in the wrong forum to begin with. Should have looked in OS forum first. Looks like a lot of people having problems with XP now.
ps- I will be installing the new anti-virus like you suggested. Thanks again !!!
