I forgot to mention:
1. I did tried to power everything off and reconnect all cables.
2. I have no security settings on the router or Wii.
3. I tried manual install on Wii by inputting the router name.
4. Tried enabling Mac address on router based on the number the Wii gives you under Term agreement.
5. The codes that it generally gives me is #51030 and 51130. The first one being the most frequent.
Feel free to call me stupid ... after spending almost two nights trying to configure the router to work with the Wii, I got it to work ... that was almost three months ago. It was still giving a bit of problems (not much). Specifically, I had to power it down if I used more than two products. For instance, I usually use my X360 and Wii interchangeably ... generally with no big problems. But if I try to use the laptop later, I would have to power down for a few seconds.
Anyways, I tried to fix that and now my Wii is completely out. Even worse than three months ago. It won't even see my Access Point although it locates the neighbors (which are locked). My X360 is able to connect through the router... no problems.
I've changed the channels to 1 and 11, which I remebered did the trick last time but now it does nothing. I also tried resetting the router and setting channels 1 and 11.
Any guidance or tips will be greatly appreciate it.
And yes ... you don't know how good you have it until you lose it.
Like I mentioned before, feel to start your letter with "Stupid" or any other similar reference.
