Let's try a common reset. I have it in full on the laptop forum but short version is "power off, remove charger, battery then press and hold the power button for 60 seconds. Release, slip in battery, apply charger and test."
If still no screen then the laptop needs repair.
At 5 years old be sure to replace the CMOS battery as low batteries can cause this as well.
White button? Back to the maker for a service manual.
i have a notebook - fujitsu LH532. Since it was slow, I reinstall from win8 to win7 with USB. After that, I need to plug in the same USB for booting and enter to windows. Thus, i reset bios and aim at change boot sequence via remove the cmos / the battery on mainboard. I do not know how to disassemble notebook, so i only can reach a part of mainboard rudely.
I press the "White button" (i guess it is the button for clear bios). Then, i power on notebook. There is nothing shown on screen!! The power button flash and cannot enter to windows.
Can someone help me to solve such problem. Thank you some much!!
