At http://www.slacker.com/products/portables/ you see a player that you can load up at most wifi hotspots.
I do have a work HD but it's security protected against downloading, of course...do any audio or record shops offer any service (I'm in Vancouver BC Canada) wherein you can go in, listen to what you want and have it downloaded for a fee? I just dont' want to buy a HD or laptop just to download files onto my mp3...and i do all my surfing/research after work on my computer anyway so no need to buy my own at this point, either...and i don't want to bug my friends to avail me of such a service, either, from their own computers.
what about preloaded mp3s, too?...any other suggestions, please?
i'm really into music quality so am looking at sony, the new zune hd or the clip or fuse from sandisk....(don't care about video capability so much.)
