Help w/selecting All-in-One Printer - esp. memory options

Apr 21, 2006 1:14AM PDT

Hi. I am buying an all-in-one printer today. I have done research on this site and others and think I am going with the Canon Pixma MP780 (unless someone knows something I do not or has a better option.) I understand PPM printing, dpi, etc. However, I have absolutely no background or knowledge in options such as memory card support and/or PictBridge etc. options.
Can anyone give me a brief tutorial of what is important concerning these options. I realize it is based on my usage of the product, but there must be some common things anyone should look for when selecting an all-in-one.

Thanks very much in advance for any and all advice.
