Just for kicks, visit the computer manufacturer's website and download, then install the most recent audio and video driver updates they have. (If you have a custom computer, you'll need to visit the audio and video provider's websites for such updated drivers.)
If that doesn't help, shutting down some of the unnecessary startup programs you have running in the background which could be causing hiccups in the normal operations of the computer. Next, then optimize the hard drive a little and run Chkdsk on the computer, then a disk defrag. Although most of the instructions in the links below are for older operating systems, they'll give you the basic instructions for the procedures.:
How To Shut Down Unnecessary Start Up Programs
How To Run 'Error Checking/Chkdsk'
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Recently my computer has started to stutter and make a low stuttering noise while I am watching videos. It is occurring while I watch Netflix, windows media player, youtube and even a DVD i put in to try. It does it in both regular and full screen mode. I have not noticed it in the other uses of my computer only when sound seems to be used. After the stuttering the audio does not become out of sync. I know my computer recently downloaded a whole bunch of updates a few days ago so I'm unsure if that is the cause of it. This is never happened to my computer before, just wondering if I should restore my computer to before the updates too place or if you can think of another fix. I have run a virus scan (AVAST software) and it found one infected file that I have deleted but the problem persist. I have run CCleaner and that did not help and have also run Malwarebyes and removed the suggested file and nothing has helped the stuttering that is occurring.
Thanks in advance for any help
