Clarification Request
Say, why is this some very old build.
Apr 20, 2015 12:35PM PDT

Sony is up to Build 444. The only build 290 looks to be some crack copy on torrents.

Did you leave out some detail here?

Sorry

But it appears that prior answers won't work for you. Do you have a support person that can show you how to run as admin and get your video driver updated if need be?

If this fails, why not get Sony to supply support? You're out 600 bucks!

I've Emailed
Apr 20, 2015 8:10AM PDT

I emailed 3 weeks ago and no response. I've gotta fix my documentary that I've gotta finish this by Friday. I'm really panicked because this documentary could get me to Washington DC. And now that this editing software won't work pisses me off. I'm extremely desperate because of how much is on the line.
Thanks for support so far.

You need some local help.

I noted the 2 things it usually is but sometimes the answer isn't good enough as how to do that eludes everyday owners.

Nothing works

I've tried this and that, from updating drivers, to nearly killing my computer. If someone could just take control of my computer and fix all my problems.... lol. I still haven't found a solution that fixes this problem.

Sadly those folk that control your pc are usually

"Bad folk."

Be sure your work and files are safe and then try a new user account. Make it an admin.

I ran it in admin, same problem. Any other ideas?

So a new admin account?

There were some 100 causes in the Sony forums. From Gopro to security apps. Even a firewall could break Vegas. Only you know your PC.
