Help to fix POWERPNT.exe Application Error PowerPoint crash

I'm really hoping someone can help me here. I've completed a powerpoint slide ready to go to record the video and everytime I do a preview run through after the first couple of slides PowerPoint crashes. I'm getting this error message, "POWERPNT>EXE - Application Error The execption unknown software exception (0xe0000002) occured in the application at location 0x75484598"

I'm running on Windows 8.1 and using PowerPoint 2010 and yes all updates for my Windows and Office programs are up-to-date and I've done a Nortons virus & Utilities check- no issues there either.
I have looked up everything under Microsoft, Google, Youtube. Tried repairing Office, uninstalled office, re-installed office, disabled add-ins including Bluetooth. Nothing is working. There is mention of software to fix, but I'm not sure which one to trust.
Can anyone help me with this? Anyone have this problem and successfully fixed it?
