Help !!!! Stupid problem

by mattrugby / November 23, 2005 5:03 AM PST

I am trying to fix a CTX Tower style computer. But I cannot figure how to get the case open. There are no screws on the back as I have seen before.

Can some help?

Maybe...

you can check if the case has a special lever or switch at the bottom of the case, cause some cases r like that. If not, just try to pry it open without causing too much damage....

you'll have to pull real hard backwards to undo it. Mine need to be moved rearward about a 13mm. Then it would swing out and off.

where the front panel had to be removed first and all screws were facing toward the front under that front panel. Sometimes you will find that there is a 'lever' type clip at the bottom under the front panel that needs to be pressed inward in order to release it. Then the two sides and top all came off in one molded piece.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
