Forget about Windows Media Player. It's big, it's slow, it's cumbersome... Try a different program for playing CDs or media files in general.
I like WinAmp for audio. Specifically the older, but very fast and light, WinAmp 2.95. Takes a bit of searching to find, but it's worth it IMO. For video, it's a tossup between MediaPlayer Classic and VLC Player.
There are of course others to choose from, some free, some not, but there's little point trying to fix Windows Media Player when there are better alternatives out there.
Good Afternoon!
My wife, visiting her father, is reloading Windows. She said that when she downloaded IE7 the Media Player no longer plays Music CD's.
Any help, at all, wood be appreciated
