Windows 2000 (thankfully) does not know as well as can not change a BIOS password. This will be machine dependent so change/remove such in the BIOS.
It's a funny issue since you have to set a BIOS password to keep people out of the BIOS to keep them from setting a boot password.
I am trying to start up a computer with Windows XP 2000. Someone has screwed up after hitting F1 and added a password (which I know) they have also hit reboot. After putting in the password how can I get past the reboot screen and get back to the F1 screen so that I can change it so that doesn't happen. Hopefully someone will have some suggestions.
