Question

Help setting up Local Area Network for a school (project)

Apr 30, 2019 5:32AM PDT

Hello. Can someone help me with a school project?
The project is to set up a local network (LAN) at a High School. The school has aprox 400 students and 40 staff members.

1. What kind of equipment should be used (servers, etc.)?
2. How should the topology look (with cables, wireless routers, etc.)?
3. How should I plan Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS)? Which considerations must be emphasized so that the construction of AD DS is as rational as possible to operate, easy to maintain, and most user-friendly?
4. How can the proposals for AD DS be implemented?
5. All employees and students must have their own virtual machine.
How can this be done and what cloud system can be used, and which rights should the users have?

Hoping for an answer.

Nice project. You'll learn a lot while doing it. And that's exactly the purpose of a school project. So no help here, alas.

It uses not only what you learned during the course but may require you to research more areas.

The teacher does not expect you to deliver say what Cisco's engineers would but what you would create using what you learned plus what you can research.
