Help selecting a wirless router for two xbox 360's+Computer?

by greenneck / July 27, 2007 7:16 AM PDT

I currently have Comcast cable internet and I use it for gaming and surfing. The router I have now is a Linksys Wireless G 2.4 GHz with speed booster. When my brother tries to play his Xbox online while I?m on the computer our router over heats. Then it will kick one of us or both off.
I need a wireless router that will work with the Xbox 360?s wireless adapter that can support two Xbox?s online and the computer all using the internet at the same time with out over heating. What router would you recommend for me?

Thank you,

Sorry isn't this a 2 XBOX issue?

Some games check your IP address and kick you off XBox Live.

If it is an overheating router why not get a new one?

If you have cable modem then it's usually enough. It will not solve the IP address issue.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
