Help! Samsung smart remote & sky

Hi, I've just bought a new Samsung curved led tv & have 2 remotes. I've set up the slimmer smart remote to work with sky but I can't work out how I record. I've found solutions online for older models, but not recent ones.
The smart remote works perfectly for everything else, so really don't want to have to use another remote just to press record.

Always use the chat at samsung.com, along with calling both maker and seller. If they fail to answer this, then you send it back and ask them what models will work for you.

I've actually figured it out. If you press the play/pause button it brings up the option to press the 'up' button which shows a red dot as record.
