Help!!!!!!!! Problems with Fonts

My welcome screen in XP Pro displays the incorrect fonts, and so do all of my programs, Start menu etc., I have used the "Install new Fonts" options in the Fonts Folder in Control Panel and everytime I restart the PC it goes right back to the same problem, any help would be highly appreciated, thanx in advance..........

I have tried system restore Kees, but with no luck. I seem to have problems using System Restore also, I keep getting a message stating "Cannot restore system to previous state" or something to that effect. I thought about using the XP Install disk to return my fonts to the default setting but I'm not sure if that'll work or if that is even an option. Thanks for your input and any additional info is greatly appreciated.
