Question

Help! Please! Thumb drive format fingerprints

Apr 13, 2015 1:48PM PDT

I was accused of a huge violation at work involving a thumb drive being formated. Are there any details left behind documenting when and which computer did the actual formatting? Knowing this could save me...thanks in advance.

But thumb drives are so unreliable that they may go wonky and appear to be formatted. It seems odd to make such a claim given the technology can go pwoof if you unplug a drive rather than eject it.

the currect technology only can restore formatted files from formatted thumb drive, but your question is really hard to proof.
