Help please samsung DLP white dot recall HL67A750A1F

I called and got ticket number 4133939109. They told me the recall expired.my friend gaveme this tv today. Can anyone help

I wouldn't expect much.

Try asking if there are any other options @ AVS forums.

The recall was validuntil the end of 2015. I just received the tv today

This ks for the direction. It looks like there will be no honoring of the recall by samsung... I figured I would try.....

They did honor it. Now we are past

The recall was for early failures. This is a mechanical part and will fail over time. It's like tires on a car. If they wore out early, the car maker may have a recall. Later, the recall for early wearout is over.

This can really cheese off folk that didn't get a full explanation.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
