Help please! Digital Camera Video Upload

Mar 31, 2007 5:12AM PDT

Hello, I have a Nikon Coolpix 5600 Digital Camera that takes pics and videos. I took some videos of todays skating and i need to upload them. I dont like the videos, so I want to take some pictures from the videos. The videos are quicktime videos from my camera, so I cannot take a pic using Windows Media Player. I was hoping that somebody knew how to take a picture from a quicktime video. Any programs/suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks. -Mike

I use a Mac so I may be wrong on this, but on a PC can't you just stop the video on the frame you want, then press the "Print Screen" button (which captures the desktop) then paste the captured image in an image processing program to trim the picture? On a Mac, you can simply press "Shift+4" and you can select the portion of the desktop that you need to capture by dragging the cursor over the image. I don't know if a PC has this too, but maybe.
