Good day, I also have some problems with my computer . I have read previous thread and think my problems are also because of viruses Sad Yesterday when I was checking my yahoo mail my computer shuts down itself, I thought maybe there was some problems with electricity, I checked and there wasn't, I try to "turn on" it starts to checking my disks, then give me an opportunity to choose safe mode, normal mode..I chose normal, it starts but it again shuts down Sad My anti-virus is AVG 8.0.
hope hearing from you.
And please can you tell me the difference between spyware ,maleware and virus?
thanks a lot

What happens if you boot in Safe Mode?

Is there any error message or blue screen before it shuts down in normal mode?
If you can logon in Safe Mode, check the Event Viewer logs.

If nothing wrong happens then there's probably an executable installed but not running (since it's in safe mode). Check any recent installations as well.
