Question

HELP - No Signal after factory reset

Aug 6, 2017 4:31PM PDT

Hi everyone,
So coming back from vacation, my pc started being rellay low, having fps drop in games, and a hardrive use of 100% . So I tried to restart it but it didn't manage to start.

So i deceided to reset all my pc and remove the dust inside. I started by tryng to reset it. However it froze at 32% during a whole night. Then I shut it dow and power it again. It told me that there was no os installed.

I though it was a good idea to do a really full clean up. So i ordered a new hard drive, some thermal paste. I cleaned it up removed all the component, take of the dust and put the component back in. Then I powered it on.

Every single fan was on. However there was no display. I switched cable, monitor, graphic card and even tried internal gpu. So here I am stuck, hoping that it is not a motherboard problem.

Here are my spec :
CPU : i7 2600
MB : Asrock h61 pro btc
RAM : 1x4go Gskill 1333mhz, 1x4go noname 1333mz
PSU : ANTEC VP 600p - EC
CASE : Zalman z3 plus
CPU COOLER : BEQUIET pure rock
HDD : Western Digital blue 1to (new), hp 1to (old)
SSD : Crucial 256go
GPU : Sapphire r9 380 (actual one), VTX Radeon HD6950 (old one)

Feel free to ask me any question, and sorry for my really bad english,
Thank you.

Did you downsize it to no case, motherboard and PSU?

If that won't power up, just 2 parts could be bad.

A desktop PC is a pile of parts. To save you replace the failing parts.

Only if it doesn't work.

We don't need the RAM for a power on test. And some boards don't need the CPU.

Tested without ram

I can't guess for you.

But if you are down to a few parts, it's one of these parts or all of them. Use your noggin to guess which one.

Nothing happened. So maybe my processor is gone and I think this is very rare. I'm also very affraid to test all of this badly. What do you think?

Maybe a shop counter is next.
